Origins

The origins of this practice can be traced back approximately 8,000 years ago. Even Taoist Masters in Ancient China, around 500 BCE, cultivated and practiced it. These Taoist Masters chose to preserve this sexual practice due to the benefits and advantages they observed as a direct consequence of abstaining or due to the superstitious beliefs they attributed to it. Some of these superstitious beliefs even led to the belief in immortality being a consequence.

The general belief system regarding semen retention was that semen, the source of life, could be stored in sexual organs and that this process would bring the man in question into a state of betterment in various capacities. If men were to indulge their sexual impulses and waste their life force, they would be forced into a state of minimal vitality and overall low spiritual vibration.

To summarize further, it was believed, and still is by some in modern times, that the longer you abstain from ejaculation, the greater the benefits. These range from a healthier mind and body to a more spiritual sense of health and vitality. You become lighter on your feet, with much more life behind your eyes, and a noticeable and alluring change to your spirits in general.

What We Know and How to Use It

What we do know about semen retention for sure is it raises your testosterone levels, and from personal experience, I can tell you it increases your energy output dramatically. You can take what you want from the history of this practice and believe what you like, but I suggest any man reading this who has no previous experience with semen retention at least attempt to implement it.

Especially in today’s social climate, masturbation and porn have become a mainstream, socially acceptable succubus, draining men of their vitality for fleeting pleasure and a degrading sense of self-worth. Men have been left with zero self-control and no energy to figure out a way to get themselves out of the situation they’ve created.

A lot of men like to mock the practice as well, which I think is a rather cliche and immature perspective on the subject. Most of the men mocking it basically insinuate that because a man practices semen retention, he is fanatical and doesn’t find any success with women. Ironically, I’ve found that semen retention can and has helped many men overcome their inability to have success with women.

Due to their previous habits, this practice has allowed men to direct all of that pent-up energy toward productive pursuits and toward actively going out and meeting women. If you stop masturbating completely, you have no other choice but to attract women.

They become easier to attract because you have more vitality and confidence, and women become more attractive due to you abstaining from relieving yourself. Semen retention can be a way of life, but it does not need to be a fanatical way of life. It has practical uses. There may be periods in your life when you don’t want too many women in your life because you want to focus on your career or building your businesses.

You might not want the distraction. Semen retention is a perfect way to enhance your energy output toward these pursuits and really narrow your focus toward what needs to be done. And if you want to have sex with beautiful women, do so. You’re not a monk. There are uses and advantages to everything, and semen retention is one of those advantages.

Leverage it and use it to improve your life.
